What we must consider are the implications of having full and free speech( the unimpeded ability to think as we please and the ability to express ourselves as we please) and weigh the costs or the worst-case scenarios of having such rights against the costs of the existence of stipulations that hinder these rights.
English language has always been the valentine with whom I’ve never had sex; the full-fledged demoiselle that could be easily drawn to my peaceful lair but never wooed.
In November of 2008, a wind of hope and change swept through the country when people elected a new president. The expectations were high, and the excitement of a fresh direction was felt in the mood of the nation.
Have you ever found your curiosity extending to the point where, whenever you hear about or read about something strange, you use Google (21st century's best friend) to search deeper into it?
There is a movie in which the time we have left to live is used as currency. As absurd as this may sound, the reality is comparably ridiculous. In today's society one does not need any currency in the traditional sense, for if one is popular enough they get things for free.
I have just read a blog posting by blue_veined-hatred, and it has really triggered a train of thought. Amazing where inspiration comes from, isn't it? Anyhow, I thought I would respond to his blog posting with a little essay.
Lets face it. There are, like always, a lot of things that make the world a sucky place right now. Economic crisis? Check. Serious environmental issues? Sure. Epidemics and overpopulation? Of course.
In a smokey haze of Friday night relaxing and indulging in video games, an interesting topic unfolded while conversing with Seanwhat. Being friends for many years, sharing similar interests, we began to discuss how things will be for our kids, and how we would describe our times to them, realizing we were slowly but surely turning into our parents.

DesertRat: Lance Morrow wrote an article for Time in 1995 on which he talks about sexual abstinence for teenagers. Somewhere in there he mentions 'the swamp of the id.' That word ("id") stuck with me for a while, it is a Freudian term. I would like to see someone use it somewhere. Another couple words I'd love to read in fresh work are 'ennui' (Constance Woolson in "Miss Grief") and 'debutante' (seen in a movie). DR1 day 4 hours ago

Routh: Ok, I have tracked down a bug with the Drupal and the password reset system. If you're logged in to the site when you request a password reset, it will ask for your current password when resetting. In order to fix this, use the link to get your temporary login, then logout with 'My Menu' > 'Log out' - Once you do that request a password reset again and it will not ask for your current password. The Drupal developers have been made aware of this issue and are working to resolve it.3 days 6 hours ago
