Getting your work read on this site is sometimes a challenge. If you are hoping for feedback and have gotten none don't hesitate to ask. Someone will take the time to read and assess. I personally have a hard time finding the time to read the longer stuff so I usually will pay attention to poetry and short stories but mostly the poetry.
Roses were red.
My life was blue,
Until that one day
When I met you.
You brought me happiness.
You brought me love
like a guardian angel in disguise
that came down from above.
You captured my heart,
and enslaved my soul.
With your ever-loving presence,
Am I serving a kind of punishment,
or might I be part of a concealed plot?
Could it be that I’m part of something good?
Perhaps this life is that which no one thought.
As I look back at all that I have done
it looks as though my actions lack in worth.
Love is the most beautiful lie that compels us to accomplish unimaginable acts. The very lie that makes us swear and promise eternal commitment is in itself a limited anomaly. This fairy tale goes hand in hand with the most amazingly stunning creature ever known to man.
Even within the darkness of the subterranean, their blood still ran red. Ax and sword had lacerated flesh evenly regardless of the hand that wielded it. Women and children may have been spared the experience of the battlefield, but when the towns were overrun with the enemy mercy was in short supply.
After a close encounter with a gruesome death, the trio finds themselves lost in a new subterranean realm darker than anything found in their worst nightmares. Lost in the cavernous expanses of what can only be described as an underworld; Hagrimm, Serena, and Vendeto find themselves tangled up in a racial holy war between the Dark Elves and the Dwarfs. With only their lives to lose, the trio willingly joins the fight as their last chance at survival.
Shivers run up my spine as I feel the cold air.
The moonlight gleams, cascading my curves.
Dressed in nakedness, I lay before you.
My chest synchronized with rapid breaths
...of wanting you.
The following is a working Title name. Just something I wrote out quickly today. Is rather poorly written if I do say so, but just upping it as is. Might continue this piece, may not. But here is, as said, the Pilot episode.

DesertRat: Lance Morrow wrote an article for Time in 1995 on which he talks about sexual abstinence for teenagers. Somewhere in there he mentions 'the swamp of the id.' That word ("id") stuck with me for a while, it is a Freudian term. I would like to see someone use it somewhere. Another couple words I'd love to read in fresh work are 'ennui' (Constance Woolson in "Miss Grief") and 'debutante' (seen in a movie). DR1 day 3 hours ago

Routh: Ok, I have tracked down a bug with the Drupal and the password reset system. If you're logged in to the site when you request a password reset, it will ask for your current password when resetting. In order to fix this, use the link to get your temporary login, then logout with 'My Menu' > 'Log out' - Once you do that request a password reset again and it will not ask for your current password. The Drupal developers have been made aware of this issue and are working to resolve it.3 days 6 hours ago
