| FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) |
Avatars (2)
Avatars are the original online personalization item. These are the little images that show with users names on the forums, comments and in most online messaging systems today. Look in this section if you are experiencing difficulties with uploading, or selecting your avatar. |
Private Messages (0)
Private Messages are The Den's way of sending emails to other users on the site. You do not get an external email account with this, but it is handy if you want to talk to another user on the site, or make a private comment to them. If you have trouble using this system, check this FAQ section. |
Profiles and Account Settings (0)
Profiles allow you to express a little more about yourself and give people ways to contact you. Others can see the writings you have submitted on your profile as well. When you edit your profile, there are several account setting options than can be access from there as well (such as timezone, messaging options, and theme choice). This FAQ section can be of help if you have trouble with any of these. |
Sign-up (2)
Signing up to the den (also reffered to as becoming a member or registering) allows you to do many things on the site. Chatting in chat rooms, posting on forums, sending private messages, submitting writings, rating writings and submitting weblinks and articles all require you to become a member. This is due to abuse on the internet. Requiring sign up allows us to be able to ban members who try to ruin the enjoyment of the site for others. If you have difficulties signing up, check this FAQ section. |
Web Links (0)
Web Links allow members to have quick access to tools, and resources that are useful for writers when they are creating new works. Members are also welcome to submit the sites they frequent the most, so other members might enjoy them as well. If you have trouble sending in your web links, check this section. |
Your Writings (3)
The 'Your Writings' tab will take you into the writings management screen, which is where you can submit, edit and delete your writings. You can also check your overall rating as well as the rating of each individual writing quickly from here as well. If you have any trouble with submitting, editing or deleting your writings, check this FAQ section. |

I guess the books are kind of like the old Saturday afternoon matinee serials. Most of them were westerns in those days. Where the hero is going off the cliff in a car filled with dynamite and that's were it would end, until you came back the following Saturday to find out what happened.-- Clive Cussler |
