The first rays of the morning sun hit the flat grey surface of the monolith, on a cold winter morning, like the gentle touch of a goddess, like child's play, like a dying man's last breath. The rectangular shape twists and bends at the corners, trying to escape itself. The rough concrete and steel holds it together in a timeless embrace.

Common sense is called a sense because its a reaction an emotion something you sense without thinking. Its common because its a first basis reaction its the first thing that comes to mind. Common sense is completely opposed to logic and rationality for that matter.

If we didn't kid ourselves. What would happen then. I chase the smoke away by blowing into the air chase it down with a vanilla iced latte. We'll be the leaders of a messed up generation. That's how the song goes. Hope you noticed these days music is the new gospel. When we drink we do it right. Wat the song says is drink it up. Wat the song says is live it up.

There's nothing even remotely inspiring about where I am. The office walls - a dreary immitation of white the way after a photography class nothing is truly white ever again except for pictures. Every surface - cheap, sterile, efficient. Ready for re-sterilization, water-proof, alcohol-resistant.

To know many things, is to despair in trying, to forget one thing. *The worlds we make up to excise and substitute pieces of reality are the loudest voice of dissatisfaction with reality itself.
