Gone it is
The moment that was
The power to shape
A life , A love

The calloused grip
Can never keep near
All worth having
Holding close, and dear

Stay ever aware
Of the sands fading fast
Will you rejoice or regret
When life comes to pass?

I like this. Short but strong. Why not have posted it as a poem?

I agree with Ms. Fairy, this is very poetic. I love the word callous! I just recently used it myself. It is my obsession at the moment. You can describe so much with just that one word. Anyway, great poem...er..blog :)

Im kind of new to this so I just posted it in the easiest spot I guess. I'll try and post in more appropriate sections. Thanks for the compliments.
