Anyway, after a post regarding a recent Iran decision, I had to come and tell people.

The Iran government has banned many western-style haircuts, including ponytails, mullets, and spikes. Oh, and you're also not allowed to use too much hair gel. They've already closed several barber shops for giving out western-style haircuts.

They really hate us, don't they?

Their police even do regular "morality checks" by arresting men with spiky hair and tight jeans, and women who wear short coats and (oh my God) flimsy headscarves. -.-

Then, off hand, the page ends with a paragraph about an Iranian cleric who, earlier this year, claimed women who wear revealing clothes cause natural disasters. So, to copy the quote: "Hojjat ol-eslam Kazem Sediqi, a prayer leader in Tehran, said: "Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society, which increases earthquakes.""
