This is one the best albums in my collection and though I've owned it for months, I still listen to it at least once a week out of all the other music I have.
Relient K, a Christian band, has evolved in each of their albums. They have early, comedy songs like "Mood Rings" or "Marylin Manson ate my Girlfriend," and then they changed into a more serious band with things like "Be My Escape" and "Who I am Hates Who I've Been."
This album takes the cake. I don't think there's a true story to it, but I imagine it's a love story mixed with tragedy and remedy, with the center being an obvious down-turn for whoever the character is.
The sound is bathed in what I'd describe as a Gatsby-styled Roaring 20's light. Images occur of the singer wearing a tux.
The lyrics are above acceptable and everything meshes near perfectly.
I type "Forget and Not Slow Down" a 10/10 and an album that will remain in my ears for years.
