This article is just a suggestion to help some of our members who have no facility to store drafts of their work. The first member to come to mind is james, but I am certain there are others.
Routh recommends Google docs, and that is a good way. But here is another. And it is fairly simple to do.
Open a new email and write your draft there. Then, simply email the draft to yourself. That is correct; send the email to your mailbox. You can do this. When you are ready to work, open the email and go to work. Then save it and email it again.
I did that a while back all the time, just never thought to tell anyone. If I think about it I still have crap loads of stories that I never finished in there.OH WEll
I actually suggest Open Office (http://www.openof...), a free software. You can write in it, yes, but you can also do things like create graphs, charts, do math, draw, ect. Did I mention it's free?
If you do choose to get open office, remember to VIRUS SCAN IT!!!!
While it is from a trustable site viruses can come from anywhere and a simple 30 second virus scan is much better then a 7 hour re-format or paying sombody to fix your computer/buying a new one.
Personally, I love open office so I too recommend it.
